CM's Quick Hits

The NFL Draft is over and ol' CM didn't fare as well this year, only getting 79 out of the top 100, after 84 in '05 and 82 in '06..........My youngest son asked me what a Maverick was, to which I replied: "A choking, gutless, loser who will never win a championship".....He seemed a little confused by my answer...... Speaking of dealing with your children, I think the press (most notably fatass Nancy Grace) needs to get off of ABaldwin and his private life.....BObama's response to a hypothetical Al Qaeda attack on U.S. soil was laughable, as he feels the first thing we need to do is reach out to the world community for help.....At least HClinton's response was to retaliate immediately......The Dem's platform kills me: Let immigrants in, but we as a nation should drive less and consume less...Allow the killing of unborn humans (abortion), but let adult murderers live as not to lower ourselves to their level.....Delaware Joe Biden's blaming of the Virginia Tech incident on President Bush is a dumb as blaming hurricane Katrina on global warming.....The Pat Tillman affair was completely mishandled by the Army, but using it as another reason to hate Bush is a bit of a contradiction as we have a volunteer only military, and Mr. Tillman showed he was a great American by doing just that and who obviously supported his commander in chief by signing up in the first place....In closing I'd like to say that after years of playing and decades of watching, the Association is now dead to me, joining college basketball in a shallow, unmarked grave....Remember, if you want to hear the musings of a real bitterman, be sure to check out CM's Quick Hits, only on the Deuce.
