Oh Goody!!! CM's Top 100 (91-100)

How do you devalue a blog with no value? Sports, that's how. That's right people, my 2007 NFL Draft preview is up and going and it jumps off with the top 100, by tens of course. Also included is a rising/falling or level rating along wif commentary

91. Ryan Moore - 6-3 215 - WR - Miami - Falling; Injuries/Off field issues
92. Nate Harris - 6-1 235 - MLB - L'Ville - Level; Small for a Mike
93. Garland Heath - 6-2 - 225 - SS - NCSt - Level; Big for a SS
94. James Marten - 6-8 - 315 - G - BC - Falling; Another tweener(G/T)
95. Johnnie Lee Higgins - 6-0 - 180 -WR -UTEP - Level; One trick pony has 4.18 speed in the 40
96. DeShawn Wynn - 5-11 - 232 - RB - Fla. - Falling; Big back w/ stamina issues
97.Tyler Palko 6-2 - 220 - QB Pitt. - Level; Got off to the great start in '04, is he a pus arm?
98. Matt Herian - 6-5 - 245 - TE - Neb. - Falling; All Big 12 in '03, broke leg in '04, needs to get stronger
99. Garrett Wolfe - 5-7 - 173 - RB - N.Ill. - Level; 4.4 40, he's just so tiny
100. Matt Trannon - 6-6 - 227 - WR - MSU - Rising; Basketball player with football skills, could he be a TE?

There you have it. What's interesting to note here is the preponderance of "tweeners", cats not big enough for one position, or not fast enough for another. Also, some of these players are either too small (Wolfe) or size (Marten) is their most (and in some cases only) outstanding plus.

Hey Crass. You seem to have a good grasp on the NFL draft. For additional context, can you provide us some future posts letting us know: the draft order thru all 7 rounds, how many (in general) of the top 100 will last in the league and for how long, what positions are crapshoots, what positions are safer bets (if any), how many superstars and how many solid guys are in this draft, and who improved their team the most?

And as to your decision to package the top 100 in 10 posts. Aw jeez.

One other thing. Who would CM take if he had the picks for the Cowboys? Possibly of interest would be your picks for the lesser NFC East teams too.

EL P - If he can catch (which he can) and run back kicks, yes.

Thanks for the interest and advice, X, those are great ideas and I'll touch on each one as I go.

Lesser teams.....HEE HEE!!
