CM's NFL Draft Top 100: 41-50

Rolling on into the 40's , it's CM's continuing preview of the best draft eligible collegians, starting wif number 41:

41. HB Blades - 6-0 - 240 - MLB - Pitt. - Rising; All Big East 3 years; The proverbial "tackling machine", if you will, comes from a football family in Miami
42. Samson Satele - 6-3 - 311 - C/G - UH - Rising; Typical Hawaiian player, strong ( 600 bench), quick and tenacious; Would have been a 3rd rounder if he came out last year
43. David Patterson - 6-3 - 285 - DT - OSU - Rising; Overshadowed by Quinn Pitcock, it turns out that Patterson was the better player, showing good pass rushing skills
44. Jarvis Moss - 6-6 - 252 - DE - Fla. - Rising; This is much lower than most have him, as I only see him as a very gifted situational pass rusher. He does have the capacity to get bigger, and that may tell the long term tale with him
45. Aaron Ross - 6-1 - 192 - CB - UT - Falling; Again, he is rated higher by most, but I have seen this guy get burned by non NFL types; He is a RCB (backside zone corner) for sure, but can hit so hard that safety may be his final destination. Explosive athlete
46. Drew Stanton - 6-3 - 230 - QB - MSU - Rising; John L. Smith's offense at Michigan State was absolutely bogus, and this big armed kid will thrive in a better system with better coaching
47. Mason Crosby - 6-2 - 210 - K - CU - Falling; Awful at the combine, but the NFL loves big leg kickers
48. Kevin Kolb - 6-3 - 225 - QB - Houston - Level; Brilliant as a Freshman, this kid has a big arm and underrated mobilty
49. Dan Mozes - 6-4 - 290 - G/C - WVA - Level; 3 yr starter was All Big East and a 2 time All American; Very versatile, can play any o-line position; Was the key to WVA's spread option attack, making all the o-line calls and adjustments
50. Anthony Waters - 6-3 - 245 - MLB - Clem. - Level; 3 yr starter would have been an NFL draft pick in '06 had he come out; Super productve player with over 30 tackles for loss in his career

There you have it, as we inch towards the first round, another 10 block of CM's football knowledge.Keep....Hell, start readin' for that matter as the draft is just around the cona..
