CM's NFL Draft Top 100: 21-30

Trudging along, it's on to numbers 21-30 in our countdown, as more of these cats will be counted on to contribute right away.

21. Brandon Merriweather - 6-0 - 188 - SS - Miami - Rising; Called by many a great cover safety, this dude also has the ability to knife through on running plays and is a great tackler
22. Justin Blaylock - 6-4 - 329 - T/G - UT - Level; 4 year starter was a RT at UT who may make the move inside to guard; Offense primarily ran to his side with great success
23. Reggie Nelson - 6-1 - 198 - SS - UF - Rising; Big hitter has borderline corner coverage skills and could make the move to free safety in the show
24. Anthony Spencer - 6-3 - 261 - DE - Purdue - Rising; Another one of these 3-4 type OLBs, who could be a 4-3 RE in some schemes; Gave All-World OT Joe Thomas some difficulty in pass rush situations
25. Robert Meachem - 6-3 - 210 - WR - Tenn. - Rising; Big cat; Good hands, decent speed. Started fast in '06's opener against Cal and kept on throughout the season
26. Darrelle Revis - 6-0 - 190 - CB - Pitt. - Rising; Outstanding punt returner has nose for the ball, my only question is how smoothly does he come in and out of breaks, i.e. is he "twisty-turny" enough?
27. Chris Houston - 5-11 - 178 - CB - Ark. - Rising; Speedy, press coverage specialist with great closing burst
28. Rufus Alexander - 6-1 - 231 - LB - OU - Falling; This is higher than most have him, but the dude never stops and always plays hard (see 2004 National title game when his teammates quit vs.USC, but he opted to keep ballin')
29. Daymeion Hughes - 6-2 - 188 - CB - Cal - Falling; 4.56 40 at the combine hurt him dearly, but college LCB should be able to become a zone RCB in the pros. Very productive 3 year starter
30. Tony Ugoh - 6-5 - 304 - OT - Ark. - Rising; Long armed, prototype LT is a powerful player who led Arkansas in pancake blocks for two consecutive years

Yep yep, there it is and only 2 more of these to go. God bless and thanks for comin' out.

RNelson looks like the real deal to me, the sombich can really hit and RAlexander makes as many or more plays than cats like Pat Willis and Paul Posluszny, he just ain't as physically gifted as they are.
