Ok, ok. I know the Green Bay Packers match up well wif de Dallas, and if CB Chuckie Woodson and DE KGB can go, even better for the cheese/beer/brat homos...... At this point it just seems impossible to bet against the boys in blue......The NFL is getting top heavy again (almost in a 1970'sesque way) as the contenders look to be set up for runs beyond this season, lookit: Green Bay, at 10-1, the NFL's youngest team....New England, at 10-0 with San Francisco's number one pick, which looks to be a top 5er for certain....Dallas, also at 10-1 wif 2 # 1 picks and only Greg Ellis (32), Flozell Adams (32) and T.O. Owens (33) over the age of 28....Indy at 9-2, has added even more youth and speed to the league's fastest D with two new yootes at corner and really only Marvin Harrison (35) with any wear on his tires....Pittsburgh, at 7-3 stays young, has a young coach and a young Super Bowl winning QB...The Giants at 7-3 also have a young O, they just need to infuse the secondary with some good young players (Nebraska CB Zack Bowman or Notre Dame SS Tom Zbikowski could help)...It's TV season y'all, time to eat and drink until my innards explode....CM awaaaayyyy!!Friday, November 23, 2007

Thought NE lost it's first pick on accounta cheatin'...either way..I'm lookin' forward to Dallas v GB...reminds me of '67 and the "Ice Bowl" times...quite a bit more offense tho'...I'm thinkin' "shootout"..
Honestly...I got no clue who'll win but I'm thinkin' no more than a field goal difference O/U 60 or mebbe more..31-30...sumpthin' like that..
They lost their own pick which will be #32 fo' sho. They own the 49er pick outright as Frisco gave them thier 2008 #1 for Central Michigan OT Joe Staley in 2007's draft.
The Packers are real, man. 2 prominent local "experts" seem to think Dallas wins easy. I just don't see it, unless there is a jailbreak in pass protection on Favre. Green Bay could lite 'em up like N.O. did about this time last year, beginning the Dallas collapse of 2006. There is still a long way to go this year, as a potential 1st round matchup with the Giants looms, as I think they will beat what ever 2nd tier diveesion winner inthe wild card round, and beating them 3 times could be tough.
I think you'll findout that these two teams could match-up 10 times and split...Hazza huge possibility of being a classic rivalry that could last at least 'til ' Favre hangs 'em up...Dudes playin' like he's 25 tho'...

Good lord, S, when did you become a Pats fan? I remember in 1994 when the Bills led Dallas 13-7 in Super Bowl 28 at halftime you were a huge Buffalo fan. And when the Steeler got that onside kick in 1996 in Super Bowl 30 you were a giant Steelers' fan. You Houston area fans have it great. When the Cowboys win the Bowl, you pulled for them from jump, but when they lose it's great as well.
